There are so many Irish people living in this area! I was just down at the laundromat, and the guy beside me was reading Ross O’Carroll Kelly.  So surreal!

It’s been one of those lazy surreal do-nothing weekends. I want to feel productive, or go and do something, only I have no money. Stupid pay-cheque delay!

Hmm. I want to go to the cinema tomorrow… but there isn’t really anything in the listings that I want to see! Argh! >_< What to do, what to do?!

ACP (basically, a tablet I gave Cat to calm/relax him for the journey. Usually he cries the entire time, isn’t good in the car and makes frequent escape attempts!) was an absolute lifesaver yesterday. Seriously, it made such a difference to the journey, which made everything so much more relaxed - he just slept pretty much the entire way, curled up in the back. Thank goodness for modern (veterinary) medicine!

…the time it takes to completely pack up and deep-clean an entire flat? 15 hours. More tomorrow, but just now I’m enjoying having a proper internet connection again.
