I just called my broadband people, to check the status of my moving-house order, because my broadband still isn’t working in the new place. Apparently, they encountered some error or other (that the customer support guy couldn’t explain, so I’ll have to call back tomorrow when the tech support people are on), which is why it hasn’t been activiated.
I swear, I am so sick of the bad luck I’ve had with moving to this place. It took over a month to get a landline, and when that finally happened I thought “oh, well FINALLY I’ll have internet access” - but apparently this isn’t going to come easily either. Argh. I swear I’d better be using up all my bad moving luck before the big move to Boston.
So sick of dial-up!
